Question for the roleplayer: why did you decide on this character? :) Favorite character/any specific reason?
I saw this some days ago! \o/ I must be the last one to respond…;;;
Well, personality-wise, I always loved Milo for being such a normal, rather nerdy and comedic character. He’s completely unassuming, naive, and just a bit (okay, more than a bit) clumsy. But he’s so brave when he needs to be, and that’s what I really appreciate about him. He doesn’t go looking to prove himself a hero—he just follows his passions to the very end. :)
As for why I chose this character, Milo’s the closest match to my real personality type. I like to study, am horrible at detecting sarcasm, honestly a little clumsy (hand-eye coordination—it doesn’t exist ._.), a bit of a history buff, and most definitely obsessed with languages and linguistics! :D Being a linguist automatically makes you pretty awesome in my book! So I figured that of all Disney characters, Milo would probably be the easiest for me to relate to and roleplay. I didn’t think much of it at the beginning, but he grew on my really quickly, and I couldn’t imagine roleplaying any other character now. :)

Oh, hello sir! It really is quite an honor to meet you. Although, I—I—er… I’m not familiar with much of your work. But I’m awful excited to learn more about them! I heard that you helped discover Treasure Planet, am I correct? That really does sound quite amazing! Al—almost like discovering Atlantis, but way out in space!

After a long hard while, I’ve decided that I’ll have to go on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time—a month or so, but maybe, and probably, longer, depending on how long it takes to move and then re-settle down. Initially I was thinking of quitting Milo altogether, but it was practically impossible for me to even start writing the notice, so I’m compromising with myself. I know, I’m emotional. :x
I’m hoping that in between, I’ll have some time to keep up this blog. I do mean to keep it up, although I’ll probably have to pass up on any big plots that you brilliantly awesome people hatch together. (I’m actually going to try and respond to my long-overdue PMs now, so there! :>)
I hope you guys understand, and I apologize to anyone this hiatus may affect. <3

Hi guys! So… I’m in a bit of a dilemma right now. The three week hiatus is up, and I’m back as I said I’d be, but things aren’t getting much easier than I thought they’d be. ;_; My family’s going to be moving across continents over the summer, and that’s a pretty bad omen for Milo here. I’m not sure how much time I’m going to have to dedicate myself to DRP, and if I’m going to be gone for a long time, I honestly don’t want to keep people waiting even longer than I’ve already done already. I feel horrible about having to be gone for weeks at a time, one after another. I love roleplaying Milo, but whether I’ll have the time to do that, I have no clue.
This was just to inform you about my situation, so I will be thinking about this for a little while longer before I reach my decision.

Oh gee, I—I’m awful sorry! I really didn’t mean to come off as rude! Well, erm, to address your question, an archaeologist is a person who studies human history by analyzing sites and artifacts. It’s a very interdisciplinary field drawing upon many, many different areas like anthropology, history, ethnology, geography, chemistry—the list goes on. To put it simply, we dig around sites, both in the earth and sea, and analyze objects and structures that help to reveal more about our history and our development. It’s tough but rewarding work, I think!
